I'm interested in many different things. From my background in sociology, IT and business administration I have various fields of research and interest, where I try to develop my own thoughts and concepts. One main area of interest is knowledge management and virtual communities, where i've worked on various research questions and developed an own framework, which i named "virtual knowledge communities".

Another important area of research is virtuality/cyberspace, where I'm interested in how the processes of virtualisation are changing the way we live, communicate and work together. (The fact that you are actually reading this is another proof that things are definitely changing, aren't they?). My latest thinking in that direction is found in the virtual triad and the corresponding manifesto, which you can find in the "sources"-section. I'm appreciating your interest in my works.
